I like to keep my headshots simple, using natural light and only minimal editing, to create honest beautiful portraits. I believe the key is that we spend time focusing on making sure you are connected with the camera and therefore the person on the other side of it. Because our job together isn’t just to take a pretty picture, it’s to take the picture that will get you in the room.

To me, headshots have nothing in common with modelling and everything to do with acting. It’s all about being totally present in the moment, as you be would for your close up (and the camera just happens to be your scene partner). That way you aren’t focusing on you, but on them, and instead of something that feels posed and self conscious, we capture something that feels alive, attention grabbing and, like all good acting, natural and effortless. We get to see who you really are.

Then you don’t just get in the room, you get in the right room.
